Colin combines the stories of his projects with the mediums he chooses to master.

His vision revolves around a core narrative: you can choose to take it with you. When the world at large pushes and shouts to speed up, try the next thing, and not think too much about it, the choice to hold on and take what we love with us into the future becomes a radical decision. In art, he practices this through film photography, picking up the SLR where it was left in 2004. Through techniques honed and shared over decades of practice, he thrives in applying the intent, patience, and permanence of an analogue medium to a digital world. He thrives with modern photography too - patient lessons learned from the darkroom translate to the digital lightroom as well!

Regardless of the lens, Colin seeks to bring authentic character and intentional style to every project. His favorite subjects combine the best of where we have been with an earnest pursuit of adventure.
